PRELIMS ARE COUNTED!!!

yupz. Prelims are counted. Trust MOE to change everything last minute, which my elective teacher kindly reminded us that ORALS in 2 weeks time are counted!! gosh!! This is so panicky. She gave us another topic to discuss. School. We are susposed to put the bad things about school in a humourous way. lols. how easy. like real.
Ok how bout this?:

I think the best thing about school is the experiences and life lessons you learned. The joys of school is about the friends you make, both in your cca and from other classes, even people who you see walking down the corridor or meet queueing up for food during recess. It may even be total strangers you see on the bus ride to school every morning. Of course, there is your class, the ones who made the greatest impact in your school life. Classmates and teachers are the ones you go to for help with an assignment or even personal problems. Our bond as a class is very special for us as well. The class spirit is raging strong. This is especially during our sec4 lifeskill camp when we won the class mascot competition. There was so little time and not much cooperation at first. To make matters worse, our class was pathetically small with the loudest 8 away in Changmai. This was susposed to be a cheering competition. Imagine our surprise when the results are announced. Everyone was silent. Noone could believe it. The feeling was so hard to describe and then it was so high.

Everyday boring school life can be so memorable. Mugging and cramming just before the night of an exam, trying to keep our eyelids open during certain classes are normal in school life.

The thing I would remember most fondly and the only thing I truely love in my school is my cca, theatre club. It is defiantely a huge part of my life. TO BE CONTINUED

Ok, this is so crappy and I can't picture myself saying it lor. It's like these words are in my head but it doesn't like come out naturally. I'm truely scared. Prelims count!!!! This is the one thing that will screw me up.

oral

today found out during el elect that our english oral exams are coming real soon. like in around 2 weeks time. *sad* my english sux lor..and the fact that i speak chinese at home doesn't help. Being quiet almost all my life doesn't help either. I can speak english, just that if u just give me a topic I can't. I blank out and start to get panicky. Sometime I know what to say but just can't put it in words. Like today, even the China students can speak better than me. lol.

Like the topic we were susposed to talk about, susposingly a easy one. Things u like and hate about your Homeland. Singapore. Things I like: 1) the food. the different culture and different food like roti prata, chay kuey tiao, and the typical coffeeshop food: mixed veg, wanton/fishball noodles, etc. Generally the different variety of food is never-ending, there are kopitiams, fastfood, restuarant, cafes etc. u will nv get sick of it. I also like that the food are generally quite healthy, unlike shanghai and the western countries: the food are super oily. eww. anyway there's this eat more fruits and veg plan, less gravy and oil campaign the government is implementing, so I like the food being reasonably healthy.

That's like the only thing I can think of that is real but since we're susposed to come up with 3, I like the shopping malls here too. Orchard Road is famous for it's rows of shopping malls and expensive branded goods. Some have been here forever, like Far East, and some recently built, like the Heerens. Orchard Road is also a tourist attration and a place for teens to hang out after school and for couples to date in the weekends. It is also a place where u can really feel the Singaporean kiasuism in getting the best bargains in Great Singapore sales and the busy life of the city, especially at night in the weekends.

Ok, things I would not miss if I'm out of Singapore. 1) The weather. The weather in Singapore is really too hot and humid. Especially for a person like me who sweats very easily and cannot stand heat. It is like summer throughout the year. I would prefer the weather of some other countries with the 4 seasons. (ok how to crap more?)

2) The stress. I think Singaporeans are very competitive and stressed. Singaporean's life are always very busy and filled with activities. In work, businessmen competes against each other to clinch business deals and to earn more money. In school, students study in school for the whole morning and afternoon only to continue studying at night back at home, causing them to be stressed and fall sick easily. Although only with competition will the society advances, I hope that there would not be too much competition as it may cause the adverse effect.

see..actually I can crap one..kind of anyway. But I can't do it when told to do it in class!! Here I just typed as my thought flow. Help. I think I'm gonna do really badly for my orals.=(

huang cheng

wooh..went to chinese high GO and was directed to Hcjc GO. By the time we reach there it was almost 2. The teacher in charge was very nice though, he gave us VIP seats..by the time we rushed back to M4, we were 20 mins late, and I was in a state of panicky and was drenched in sweat (think black theatre tee in this kind of weather) Then I had to rush around M4 to look for costume and change.

I love the coffee and tea in OUR coffeeshop!! (kopi-o je buao!!auntie...teeehhh!!) It was painted so nicely and it looks so real. anyway found our later that before we came tang was asking everyone about our last year EOY results, so maybe we were lucky to be late. haha.

After cca we made our way own to Newton, where I ate pohpiah. Then took the MRT to raffles place where we kind of got lost and ended up following a bunch of ppl who look like they were going Victoria Theatre. We were saying our lines for sunlight along the way and quite loudly too..the people thought we were crazy sia..

The show is quite nice. The sets were quite nice. I like the 1st part of the show. the teaser thingie acted in front of the curtain. But it was quite choral night with more elaborate sets, scene changes were super pro. ave 27 secs. longest 40s. and there was not much diff.. wanting n me are counting "one thousand..2 thousand..10 thousand..20 thousand" and there are lots of stage hands..and more than a hundred crew. -_-\\\
